4. Joy Stick

The function of joystick is similar to that of a mouse. It is mainly used in Computer Aided Designing (CAD) and playing computer Games.

This is a ball which is half inserted and by moving fingers on ball, pointer can be moved. Since the whole device is not moved, a track ball requires less space than a mouse. A track ball comes in various shapes like a ball, a button and a square.

6. Graphic Tablet
The graphics tablet can also be used to capture users signature. This use is similar to the signature pads found at any retail stores, where you would write your signature after using a credit card to make a purchase.

7.Scanner

Scanners come in hand-held, feed-in and flatbed types and for scanning black & white only, or color. Very high resolution scanners are used for scanning for high resolution printing, but lower resolution scanner are adequate for capturing images for computer display. Scanners usually come with software such as Adobe's Photoshop product, that lets you resize and otherwise modify a captured image.

Microphone is an input device to input sound that is then stored in digital form. the microphone is used for various applications like adding sound to a multimedia presentation or for mixing music.

9. Optical Mark Reader (OMR)

OMR is the process of gathering information from human being by recognizing marks on a document. OMR is accomplished by using a hardware device that detects a reflection or limited light transmittance on or through piece of paper.
OMR allows for the processing of hundreds or thousands of physical documents per hour. For example, students may recall taking tests or surveys where they filled in bubbles on paper with pencil.
10. Bar Code Reader (BCR)

It can also print out the details of the product or log information about that product into a database. A perfect Example of a barcode reader is a super market barcode scanner that reads and logs the price of a product.
